Kundalini Yoga is the yoga of awareness. It is a dynamic, powerful tool that is designed to give you an experience of your soul. Kundalini Yoga is one of the oldest forms of yoga and has been practiced by the Upanishads in India since 500 B.C.

Kundalini Yoga works on all aspects of the body, mind and spirit through, pranayam (breath), mantras (chants), asana (body positioning), mudra (hand positioning), bhanda (body locks), meditation and relaxation. It balances and heals the chakras, aura and your whole being to create a more healthy and happy way of life.

A Kundalini Yoga class/workshop will normally consist of pranayam (breath), warm-up exercises, kriya (sequence of yoga postures, breath and sound), meditation, mudras and relaxation. Just by practicing a kriya in itself, you can achieve complete physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance.

Each class is different. Don’t be surprised if you dance, sing, hold poses or move your body in a way you have not done before .Be prepared to breathe, chant, meditate and experience stillness.

Dates: Wednesday 30th September, Wednesday 7th October

Time: 6.00pm – 7.30pm

Duration:  1.5 hours

Cost:  Casual $25 or pay for the 4 classes at $80 ($20 per class)

Where: Pines Learning Centre, Rooms 16, 17 & 18, 520 Blackburn Rd, Doncaster East 3109, Doncaster  East

BYO: Yoga mat, cushion and blanket.

Wear comfortable clothing.
